The next day's drive back towards karaoke, fast food and road markings took us up and over the 1955m Tsurugi-san mountain. The trees becoming more autumnal and colourful the smaller and more winding the road became. The vine bridges (now subtly reinforced with wrought iron) provided us with a chance to stop for lunch and pay exhorbitantly for car parking whilst fearful Japanese tiptoed their careful way across.

Almeno il fiume e' spettacolare :)
Un altro problema, ora che ci siamo finalmente piazzati e' quello che con noi abbiamo pochissimo cibo e domani dobbiamo assolutamente trovare un negozietto!!

... at Kuzurabashi about thirty mins later after passing a multitude of very winding roads. There is a nice 'vine' bridge here, though it is also reinforced with steel cables! We'd heard there was a nice campsite at Kuzurabashi. It turned out to be a lot further from the vine bridge than we'd thought, but when we got there it was a lovely place, perfect even, with great camping spaces, free hot showers, not too expensive, and ...
