      Spent most of the evening booking flights and accommodation in Barcelona, Lisbon, Madrid and Marrakech and Rome. Alan is joining me in Barcelona and will leave me in Rome.

      Trieste is a nice place. It lacks the madness of the larger Italian cities, and has more of a relaxed, homey feel to it. The city is fairly clean and very little pollution that i could see or smell. Now its onto Spain

      ... it's a castle, inside of a cave! The perfect impenetrable fortress. The castle is made of three or four time periods dating from the 12th century to the 15th century. I remember seeing photos on the web about this place, and I surely wanted to see that it existed myself.
