We started out at the Royal Museum of Art and History. This is not a museum that I originally planned to visit because, frankly, walking through any non-children's museum with a four-year-old and a nine-year-old is chancy. For those of you who haven't made it yet, I hope you get a chance to visit. From beer, to chocolate, to fried potatoes, and diamonds - what's not to like?

Thanks for following....

Brussels!

A travel blog entry by kristafreitag on May 21, 2011

... eat at some fast food restaurant. (It wasn't very Belgiumish...no idea if that's a word!) We walked around and seriously got lost in the city. We roamed the shops. Daniel bought a sword and I bought some Belgium chocolates, We saw the Grand Place and the Mannekin Pis. He was dressed up though. We were going to go to see the palace but Daniel's allergies were attacking him so we decided to go back. We rode the train to the airport and then ...
