... we attended a house party of Kris’s friends. These people were friendly, and gee did they know how to throw a house party. After they finished eating, they moved the furniture aside, creating a dance space, then brought out the DJ station, smoke machines, and of course plenty of drinks. Soon we realised that not only do the Belgians do good beer and chocolate, but they also knew how to party.

... of thunder, but we saw a lot of cute animals. Spent several hours there. We went to the zoo and back on a boat, which was nice. :) Spent several hours at the zoo. They had a lot of animals and personally I think it was one of the better zoos I've gone to.

Afterwards we went to have dinner at a restaurant in Mechelen. I had a really nice pizza there. Said goodbye to Steph, Greet and ...

... passports with people from the 60's with some info about them. It was cool! We went to the café there and had some drinks. Then we went to search for a big playground, that was really hard to find, but eventually we did it. ;) S we played around their for a while. It was really fun! :D Went on some slides, seesaws and swings. Went to have pancakes for dinner, with icecream, and it was really delicious. Then we headed home. ... is literally a statue of a little boy *******. The Belgians dress him up depending on the time of the year. For example on the 4th of July he was wearing a USA Shirt. ... showed us how to put our cheese on it and stick in between the two levels of the Raclette to melt it. In the meantime, we all mashed up our potatoes and cut up the rest of our toppings. When the cheese was bubbly, you took it out and laid it on top of your mixture to mix it all together. They also had raw eggs you could fry on the top part of the Raclette, which made the mixture even better. It was such simple food, but so delicious and fun. I couldn't love anything ...
