... br> Que les puedo decir... ver que los altos oficiales de la SS cuando fueron juzgados años más tarde, afirmaban no haberlo hecho o que lo hacían solo para el bien de alemania o que no se dieron cuenta, te hace dar cuenta la cobardía absoluta, la falta de Dios en el corazón de esos imbéciles.
Realmente es triste, muy triste caminar por esos lugares, y escuchar ese grito ahogado de miles por los que nadie hizo nada.... Que historia la de nuestro mundo...

Quick stop over...
... playing a drinking game which I was just terrible at. So drinking from 7 pm to 3 am like this is not the best formula for a night out, and at 3 am the decision was made to go to bed rather than go out, might be best as Girihen had to get up at 9 for work... Very nice stopover and we had a lot of laughs....but I've really got to stop trying to drink Vodka like the eastern Europeans, it's just not possible...please forgive me body...

Week 11: Katowice and Auschwitz
... had. One of the saddest rooms had the thousands of empty cans of gas they used in the gas chambers and they had 2 tons of hair that was shaved from the heads of the people being gassed. However, they only place that really gave me to chills was the execution wall. There were flowers and rocks by it and it just gave me the chills really bad. After our tour of Auschwitz we got lunch, beef and salad. Not the best but it was free. After lunch ...
A family christening
... John Paul II was very much in evidence. They had the christening then Mass and we were finished by about 3.45. Patryk was perfect, not a peep from him all the time, he looked over Justyna’s shoulder at everyone or played with her hair, chewed my glasses case and that was it, couldn’t have wished for a better baby.
This time of year is full of family memories for us; Pete’s mum passed away on 7 May 1984, and my dad on 8 ...
