Woke up at midnight feeling fairly woozy but my stomach and bowels felt fine. Decided to go to the toilet to flush out everything but nothing happened. In stead, whilst sitting on the loo, my body temperature went sky high and I started sweating all over but it only lasted for about 5 minutes and I went back down to normal again. It can be confusing and even overwhelming if you are not prepared for it. Hello, Had a great time in Khajuraho and felt really chilled and relaxed, and we managed to stay in a hotel (Surya) that had a hot shower which was great. Hi, Today I took a bus to Khajuraho (five hours) and I was the only tourist in the bus. I arrived in Khajuraho at 16.00 pm and took a room in hotel Surya for 275 rp per night. In the evening I had a dinner at Raja's cafe which is in front of the temple complex. I also saw the sound and light show at the western temples. Khajuraho...a dusty blip on the map in the middle of drought plagued plains. Known world wide for it's intricate stone sculptures of nude ddancing girls and erotic depictionsof sensuous orgies of the gods and courtesans.... the reality is a dusty scorched town in the low season where hungry dark eyes follow you everywhere.... There is definitely an underlying tension between the locals and their foreigner meal ticket,espeically tangible in the oppressive heat that beats down everyone by noon....

Our taxi drive was hands down the most blissful three hours on this trip. It was quiet, air conditioned, and hassle free. As soon as we pulled into Khajuraho, the bubble burst.
