    Today we were going to go see the Swiss Alps. First we went to the wrong place. We went to the wrong dock. We looked behind us and saw a ship with people going on it. It was on the other side of the lake... We had five minutes to get there or the ship would leave without us... It was a little behind schedule and we were able to buy tickets inside the boat so we caught the ship. And then we rode along Lake Lucerne and saw a lot of manor houses. ...

    ... first eaten in Melbourne at a Swiss restaurant many years ago - Emince de Veau Zurichoise mit Roesti, which is sliced veal with mushrooms in a delicious sauce with Roesti potatoes. It was absolutely lovely, although quite expensive, as we soon learned, everything in Switzerland was. We finished off sharing some chocolate mousse and then headed to our rooms for an early night before our big mountain outing the next day.

    ... end of the street with beautiful flowers, yummy bakeries and fruit/veggie stands. We stumbled upon a cute cafe called Henrici in the middle of a pedestrian square and had breakfast.     ... I took one look out and my stomach dropped. It was so unbelievably high. I think the worst part was when we we only a couple of metres from hopping out, it went incredibly slow. I just wanted to get out and enjoy the view from standing on the ground. We got up to the 360 degree platform and the view was amazing.
