... flight to Hong Kong, and arrive about 12 hours later. We had booked 3 hours in a lounge, so we could have non-airline food, a shower, and comfy chairs. Unfortunately I wasn't able to sleep, so this might not be my best blog! Well, not long before we embark on the last 8 or so hours flight home. ... no wind. Not bad. Stopped for soup at Rochefort. More road works and pavements being replaced. Good soup and back on the road, this time taking the road less travelled. Obscure roads through tiny villages veering across the countryside.

... and it took us the two hours as expected which also included the taxi ride.

Once we got back we had some dinner. We went to one of the best places to get chips called Fritzland. They fry them twice. Very yum. We ended up deciding on some chips that are directly on a a baguette with stake, vegetables and tartare sauce. it was delicious.

Did i say best chips ever. They were.

... much in the weeks that I was in Belgium. Taking some weeks off from traveling and getting some much needed R&R was exactly what I needed 7 months into my trip. Belgium was the base for my other side trips to the Netherlands and Denmark.

... going for a walk I learnt how too speak to ducks an I also learnt about how the gates worked. So one side of the gate had more water in it and the midlle and end didn't have as much so when a boat came they had a remote to open the closest gate an close the furtherst gate to fill the middle then they would close the first gate the open he second then they would carry on. My impression of Belgium was that it was clean and very old ...
