Eleven kilometres of relatively easy slopes--or was I just in better shape now, and hydrated?--and we were at Col de Jau, looking down at a 27-km run-out to Prades.

Town in the Pyrenees. A spa town. Very nice town but Aire run down but good location. Why? Well I wanted to ride a Col on the Pyrenees, Clive wants to stay local so we head for what looks like a good spot ready for a nice long ride tomorrow and I will tag on another Col at the end. Right! Well best laid plans and all that. The town is very nice but the Aire is not. In fact The local Maire has posted up, all sorts of notices demanding that we stay in our Camping-Car. ...
