... a decent little place with semi-decent pesto! We explored town, which was a bustling, noisy place with a ratio of 9:1 taxis:anything else, and every single one of those taxis would drive past with their horns blaring in the hope of snaring a gringo fare. Stopped in at the market for bonito soup breakfast served by the lovely Luz, an 83 year old grand-daughter of curandera – this might have been handy as a fish bone got stuck in my throat and she handed me a handful of mashed yucca to shift it. ... in our garden. We arrived quite late in the day following 10 hours of buses and a very bumpy 20 min tuktuk ride which felt very adventurous - at a couple of points we had to get out and push the tuktuk out of a sand drift! Spent the evening in the deck chairs reading and looking at the different stars here. We can see venus and the moon looks like a smile! Very much looking forward to exploring our private beach tomorrow and sussing ...
