... of loud musaz - though sometimes pleasant enough tunes – earplugs securely wedged in ear canals – entreaties to conductor having fallen on deaf ears - am I surprised his ears are deaf - in short tired as can be and to top it off Piura is hot and humid. And we have walked some few blocks past Gary’s recommended hostel. We find and inspect the hostel. The rooms are okay but are on the ground floor and open on to a hallway. This morning we can relax in the hammock some more and write our blog which again we are getting behind on. After a lunch of fruit salad with yoghurt and granola we hit the beach, and Lauren was a lot more careful today in the sun. By ...

... room in one of their bungalows at the price of 40 sols a night.

The lodging has its own swimming pool, tropical trees everywhere, hammocks in front of every room and a ridiculous amount of dogs. Apparently there were 40 but I'm pretty sure I saw around 10. There was no immediate need to leave the lodging so after meeting the other travellers, I chilled by the pool until Kenneth, a guy from Belgium, suggested showing me ...
