... We had dinner at Tamam restaurant www.tamamrestaurant.com which was recommended by the receptionist at Vranas - we were not disappointed. The local specialties were delicious and not expensive and washed down well with a decent house white.

... with sugar. We got a little turned around and had to ask a couple people for directions, but we found it! As expected, it was delicious, and I'm glad I made the trek to find it. We went back to the hotel and had more breakfast (I have never been so full in my life). Unfortunately, we had to leave after breakfast to catch our flight. Well maybe I'm mistrusting but it always seems I'm way too scared when arriving to someplace new, especially at night. Like somehow this new place will be the worst place ever, full of armed thieves, boogie men, and a half-dozen drugged up mutants. ... 233;taire d'un des marchés nous dit qu'elle va tous les jours à Chania, plus d'une heure de route, pour y trouver les produits qu'elle vend, sauf les fruits et légumes, fournis localement. Nous trouvons quand même ce qu'il nous faut pour le petit déjeuner du lendemain, et pour préparer le lunch aue nous apporterons pendant le Trek.
