    ... was a warm and sunny day for traveling. We stopped for lunch and refreshments around 1:30 in a small restaurant.     Nic adopted at least four more dogs. One of the dogs (Basil) walked 9k with us,tail waging all the way. We fed him on chocolate biscuits and rolls. We abandoned him after making him a ham sandwich once we made it to our Hotel.(Alex got no food till later that day! Alex didn't like Basil)

    ... arrived in a remis (taxi) that then took us over to Los Troncos for another night of Parilla. Day 4 (Sunday) -Ed departed in the morning for Buenos Aires to be back in time to catch a flight to Barcelona for Mobile World Congress that evening.     Off the back packer trail - the Pampas: We decided to see the Atlantic coast and the pampas south of BA - grass, cows, fences, a few trees, and lagoons. The pampas are the vast areas of flat grass lands that make up the majority of the Argentine countryside.     ... a brownie cake, which we had also seen on some restaurant menus. It’s a brownie base with a thin layer of dulce de leche on top, then covered in meringue. Dulce de Leche is a thick caramel sauce or Nestle condensed milk mixed with butter and sugar. We found it in all things sweet in Argentina, it was almost like a subsititute for cream.
