... I am SO excited to finally be getting my own set of wheels. I also can't wait to show you what we ended up buying. On Saturday, we're supposed to be going to either a party called "Retro Saturday" at the Ocean Breeze OR a beach luau party at Torii Station. This will be the first time we, as a couple, are "going out" on the town. I'm hoping we'll have a little fun this weekend and hopefully I'll meet some people and make a friend.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

... li>I cooked an inaugural dinner in OUR kitchen and we clinked whiskey glasses full of champagne to kickoff our first night in the house. We camped out on our air mattress, pulled up House of Cards and… HE FELL ASLEEP. Because I am a good wife, I paused HoC and let my sweet husband sleep and now I’m binge watching something else before I myself pass out. I hope all is well Stateside.

For the record, still in love with my new home. Will give more much later!

... my fingers crossed and I'm praying that I'll be a great fit there. I am going absolutely insane not working as a nurse. I miss the hectic crazy 3 days a week and having awesome coworkers. I'm ready to get back to work and continue to build upon what I've learned so at the end of this tour I can be a rock star nurse.

After the tour I believe we're going out to town to go to Blue Seal (American/Okinawan spot for food and ice cream) to celebrate the conclusion of ...

... pretty hectic ferry ride (fastest ferry ride I've been on, it seemed to spend half the time in the air!) I arrived in Zamami, this was more the Okinawa I had in mind, blue seas, small town it looked good, on enquiring at the information centre in the port I was told all accommodation was fully booked but there was a campground nearby where you could rent tents so I headed off and was pleasantly surprised as the campsite is about 20 yards from a ...
