At Kawaguchiko Station, I was about to call K's Mount Fuji Hostel when a girl asked me if by any chance if I was going to a hostel and if it was K's. We both needed to be picked up by their shuttle. Storm as her friends call her is a Torontonian. Once we checked in, we grabbed dinner at a restaurant recommend by the hostel. ... guided groups, but it's anyway pleasant to walk around the colourful fields in bloom. Moss phlox turns the grass into a carpet of different shades of pink, purple and blue, gifting the photographers and selfiers with some amazing shots..even though Mount Fuji will never appear in their pictures today unfortunately. We stay a couple of hours and have a hearty lunch with ramen and soba soup and the best veggie rice bun ever! Back to Kawaguchiko, weather is getting worst ...
