... in the torrential rains and were trying to find a museum to park us in for a few hours. Andre and I finally couldn't take anymore, decided to cut our losses and head back to Tokyo. We asked for our tickets for the bullet train but were refused. We were told that we would have to make our back on our own. We caught a taxi to the nearest train station and were able to figure out how to take 3 commuter trains (over 100 km distance) to get back to Tokyo.

I finally got a good nights sleep. I left a pile of garbage in the hotel room, because I had been packing all of it around. I repacked better too. I left the hotel at 8:45 am (five minutes early!). I drove to the Honda Collection Hall/Motegi Twin Ring again. I picked up the souvenir I wanted, and saw parts of the museum that I blazed through before.
