It was nice to have the option to buy Wi-Fi for the night, but the location with construction surrounding the hotel was a bit of a nucense. The rooms were very nice, though, which made up for it! Also, the room service was delicious!

I have only seen four others here of Western decent. Three Russians I saw in a Pizza place and an American I saw walking in a mall. Pegged them by overhearing their accent! So I am an almost total anomaly here. Something I am eating up and is a nice change from being in places the entire last year where they cater to tourists! It is a nice change to be in a non-touristic place! ...

... weifght of my bags almost had me ready to faint at this point. Hayley said “How are we supposed to know if this is the right train?” “I don’t know, ask the idiots; ask the army”

We saw a conductor stood in the doorway to a carriage, we asked if this was the train to Rishikesh. He looked at us blankly, the engine roared to life. “Rishikesh? Does this train go there?” He looked puzzled, we showed him a piece of paper with the name ...

It was getting dark so I decided to look for a hotel. All of them were fully booked. All 15-20 that I've checked. The only three I found were really expensive 1,600 - 2,000 Rs which you need to divide by 70 to get the price in Pounds Sterling. Apparently, it is a holiday season in India now and people from Delhi are going north to escape the heat in central India. I decided to carry on until I reach Chandigarh - the capital of ...

She's a born performer who loves the spotlight and draws everyone's attention as soon as she gets on stage. Hari's more low-key, but got a great reception from the crowd when he stepped up to take the lead on a couple of tracks. While they were on, the rest of us ended up chatting with ...
