... and found a nice cafe across the road where we chilled while the girls shopped. An hour later they came back all excited with their purchases. From our first floor cafe we had a birds eye view of the street below and the place was so relaxed we didn't even need to order anything! Just drank some of their water, listened to the music and the chatter and waited. The reason we didn't have a coffee was that we had promised to take the girls to the ...

... that Japan was better than the UK. There you go! I do love Japan.

We went on a rainy walk on the last day to the sound of a jazz rendition of pretty woman blaring from the street speakers. We find a little independent place, run by a man and his son and delve into the conveyer belts, each plate symbolising a different price. The raw tuna is divine, Elly and I love our pickled ginger and soya sauce, the salmon is so fresh…only raw fish here, no deviation like the sushi restaurants in the UK…no this is authentic, this is Tokyo baby!
