The tour group seemed to like to move me from one van to another - all in all i was in eight vans / different groups of people in 48 hours. Both trips also had additional folk. Got a tad confusing ...

Well, I thought that the bus ride would be horrendous, but it was surprisingly comfortable and didnīt feel as long as it was. I was sat in the front row on the top deck, so I got a great view of the scenery (when it was daylight). They played some good movies, luckily in English with Spanish subtitles, so I could even try and learn some more Spanish! The food was also kind of nice, like airplane food, but ...

... We also found that it was a lot hotter than expected at 30C, relegating all the extra layers bought in Buenos Aires to the bottom of the backpack.

We spent the evening wandering around the Brazilian town. As it is just over the border from Argentina, a lot of things are similar (such as the love of Mate) but yet you can really tell you are in Brazil. The food is slightly different, the fashion is a lot more extravagant and the town felt a lot more ...

I am sitting by the hotel pool enjoying (rewarding myself with) a pisco sour.
