At lunch I came across a magical campground. I was looking for a bathroom and happened upon a closed campground that was still open. Read: electricity, water, hot shower, but it was free and there were all of two couples there. I had lunch, a shower, and charged my phones.

Saint Michel Chef Chef is a tranquil sea side town. My first Bastille Day (July 14) was spend here.

... and took photos. Then we cycled on to the bridge but nothing much there so cycled back to Barbatre for a coffee. Then we went to Barbatre's local beach, the Plage L’Ocean for a while.

Weather this morning dull and overcast.
We decided to go north to do the bike tracks we missed out the other day, calling in to the market at La Gueriniere on the way.
Nothing too exciting – just another day at L'Herbaudiere.
