... trousers tied at the knees and elbows, a bit like Morris dancers but without the bells, ribbons, flowers and piffling stick. So possibly not like Morris dancers at all but you hopefully get an idea. Oh and they also had pointy hoods on the back of there heads which I think they could pull forward to cover their faces. There is little left of the 13th century gothic original building, the front facade is a 20th century imitation and inside is a morass of baroque ...
... I would normally say are always fashionably dressed but I have seen some onboard in dodgy shell suits. Additionally they are so focused on how they look, that they have now idea of what is going on a round them and tend to end up in the way when moving around and on and off the ship. And the Americans. Yes most are friendly but they do tend to moan about all things not american and well lets just leave it ...

The café we went to for lunch was originally used as a post office and still have the places that the horses would drink from at the back of the shop (see picture also). There was a crypt under the shop with bones in, but we couldn't see it because it's to dangerous getting down there.
On the way to the ship we bought some all natural and yummy Sardinian sweets made of almond which are locally grown. Everything was made from almond.

Then a short walk to see the flamingos on the ancient roman salt pans. (The romans used the salt for preserving their goods-very extensive).
Back on the bus and home for a siesta.
Thank god graham'had a calzone.
