... Most of them were covered with fresh snow, but still got a decent look. At the top, we tried to distance ourselves from the pushy tourists by going outside on a short hike through the snow. Views were absolutely stunning. It was worth trudging through the snow and biting wind. After touring around the top for a few hours and taking tons of pictures, we rode the train partway back, to Kleine Scheidegg. Had amazing views of ...

        Swiss alps
Next stop was the Swiss alps. The drive into the mountains was beautiful despite overcast weather and it getting dark but we were so lucky the next day when we woke to beautiful blue skies. We also woke with a little bit of a hangover as our first night at the campsite turned into a bit of a party. (Perhaps we can blame altitude?!) There was various places to visit but I decided to splash out on an ...

... shudder and make a thundering noise." All true. There was a cool old counterbalanced lift up to the 6th fall then a series of dimly lit stairs and lookouts inside the mountain up to the 10th fall. We then walked all the way down. It was quite a sight - more like a full body experience!

Satiated by nature in all its glory, we headed by train to Zurich for our flight to London.
