Today I took a day trip to a couple of little villages, heidiland and Liechtenstein - a small country that is between Switzerland and Austria. It was a very nice tour and we passed through lots of farm land. The farms are all cute and old and tiny and they were smelly because everyone was spreading manure ...

... and the Krazy Kanguruh, however the slopes were a lot busier and also icier. Don't get me wrong - the skiing/boarding is still great.
On the other hand, the Lech side (Lech, Zug and Zurs) seemed to have the better slopes - wide, open, not too crowded, and much more powder.
So you really have to decide what you prefer more...

... swiss francs for a toll sticker. We felt foolish. Swiss toll police 1. Australians 0. We got to Liechtenstein and found the Gasthof Au. It was literally in the corner car park of the Toyota dealership of Vaduz.         I had emailed for a booking and gotten a reply that they needed a credit card to secure the booking. I didn't want to send my credit card details on an email, so a few days prior to our arrival ...

... getting our haircut by a local hairdresser who came to the car sales centre of Simones's parents and cut our hair while we took shifts eating traditional German food ( lebrkaese) ... Hilarious! Then that night Simone and I crashed her 15 year old nieces garage party - until we got kicked out :) We experienced the traditional German Saturday market in Nordingen and ate more yummy food... Celebrated Robin's bday ( Simone's nephew) ...

... to admire it, with a lookout over the town (and pretty much the whole country). The town itself has loads of artistic pieces dotted around, all the shops looked very expensive as did all the cars the locals owned. We found a postage stamp museum which was rather interesting but got cut short, as everything closes for an hour at lunchtime. Seriously we don't know how things get done around Europe it seems at lunch time and on Sundays everywhere becomes like ghost towns.After Lunch ...
