... we have a lazy sailing day till docking in Bamburg at 4.45 so we will be looking around in the evening thank god. The heat was hard to take today.. We asked today about going to see the dancing horses in Vienna and Petra said " they are in layoff at present" meaning out for a spell. Told Tricia and she thought Layoff was a town ha ha said Where's that? How's the rain going at home! Hope no damage. Love to you all. ...
... for having the most obese people which given what I have said about the fresh food might be a surprise. However, I have been buying six packs of beer, which contain their standard stubby of 750ml bottles (yes no tiny 350ml bottles here) for $6.00 in total. Also a litre beer stein only costs $3. Unbelievable it's beer drinkers heaven. So that might explain the weight issue. Lol
So that's it for about now.
Love to all

... was all types of foods and wines. The Bratwursts where over a foot long and in a bun were $4. Our friends were fantastic hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with them.
We have been picked up by my cousin and his wife Hans and Birgitt and were driven to their place along the autobahn at 160km/h and were being overtaken by cars at about 200kms/h all pretty scary but safe. We are now with them in Goldkronach Bavaria, so Prost, Salute, Cheers.

Have a look and see what you think? Spaghetti ice cream ...
... As we've met young Germans here and abroad, we're no longer surprised at how well they speak English, but that doesn't mean we are any less impressed. Jonas' English is fluent and even though he hadn't spoken in months, it's like he turned on a switch. We caught each other up on our travels and just chatted about life in Canada and Germany. Jonas is a very well spoken, interesting, and fun person and we all enjoyed getting to know him ...
