... meaning a Fisherman's village. It was a neat place to explore. When we got back to Malchow, we visited the DDR/GDR museum set up in the old picture theatre premises. It was small and all the things were out on display, not in cabinets etc. You could pick things up and look closely. Most of the items were everyday things from 1950's, 1960's, 1970's in East Germany. Yuk - rayon shift dresses! Started raining early evening. Off to Rugen Island ...

We enjoy a couple of hours walking through the town centre before catching the boat back to our ship.

This is our last night so we enjoy our final drinks in the Avenue Saloon bar, that again has proved to be our favourite little drinking hole, before proceeding to the dining room for our last dinner for this cruise.

Tomorrow we will be arriving in Copenhagen and heading to Hillerod where we have a house swap for seven days.

Monday February 9th Checked out of our hotel, Antwerp, and Belgium. We were on the road again, this time heading to Germany. It was all motorway so we soon arrived at our destination, Bad Bentheim. A lot of the towns in Germany are called bad something or other, it's not because they're **** but something to do with them being a spa town. This was our third day and our third country, we'd also driven through Holland but hadn't stopped so we couldn't really count that. We ...
