It was a bit of a rush this morning as we had to drive from Beaulieu Sur Mer to Menton to return the hire car. Then we caught the train to Sanremo (Italy) for the next nights stop. We did this because if we took the car and dropped it off in Italy it would have cost an extra $500 Euro. So the plan is to stay in Sanremo tonight and ...

... bridge took us to an even cuter area of the town with a gorgeous almost private beach. We took our time hunting for sea-glass and whatever other goodies we could find hidden among the rocky beaches to keep as souvenirs. Finally, still full, wind-blown and sleepy we made our way back to the train station to wait for our train. When we walked up the steps to our platform it seemed as if we were late to a party. So we arrived at the campsite at Imperia with another problem with the Alarm Siren Sounding and the Engine Immobiliser kicking in... We now have 3 problems still to sort out, the Fiat Speedometer, Kitchen Tap and the Alarm..! Claim with Amex being processed for the Water Diesel and the repair from the Fiat Dealer to flush the system and just to keep everything ticking along also contacted AGIP Service Stations HQ... Can't do any ...

Tuesday 7 October

The weather did not cooperate today. The highlight was dinner in a little restaurant in Molini di Triora.

It was a five course feast of home cooked Italian fare. Two courses of antipasta, then all sorts of pasta, then meat dishes. We were all so full we couldn't fit in dessert.
