... Our waiter helped translate the appetizer options, and we ordered a meat and cheese plate and a pizza to share. They brought our water with packets of cute little breadsticks. Cracker sticks I suppose would be a better name for these treats, but we eat finished these off well before our food arrived. So we arrived at the campsite at Imperia with another problem with the Alarm Siren Sounding and the Engine Immobiliser kicking in... We now have 3 problems still to sort out, the Fiat Speedometer, Kitchen Tap and the Alarm..! Claim with Amex being processed for the Water Diesel and the repair from the Fiat Dealer to flush the system and just to keep everything ticking along also contacted AGIP Service Stations HQ... Can't do any ...

Tuesday 7 October

The weather did not cooperate today. The highlight was dinner in a little restaurant in Molini di Triora.

It was a five course feast of home cooked Italian fare. Two courses of antipasta, then all sorts of pasta, then meat dishes. We were all so full we couldn't fit in dessert.

... the easiest tasks..... We finally found one in a building that didn’t look like a shopping centre at all. It didn't help that it was pouring rain.



The drive up the mountain was scary. If the roads and traffic weren’t bad enough
the fog, or was it cloud, made it extremely difficult. Meanwhile our travelling companions were starving at home.
