    ... interesting about settlement of the area, education and agricultral a hievemenfs.
    Cold chicken and salad for dinner. Sitting around an outside table with an American couple from Florida and 18 cyclist from Holland who had done their 200km bike ride for the day.
    Walked home from jen and graham's about 1km up the pitch black road and collapse into bed.
    Did my blog, couldn't let my followers down.

    ... rocks, bushes etc to transverse.
    Of course we were prepared NOT! It had been hot and sunny when we left.
    It was cool, but ok until we got to the lac, 1770 metres above sea level and the breeze was not hot.
    After checking out the shepherds hut, the temperature of the water and the dark clouds we decided to descend.
    I was freezing in my polo shirt and shorts.
    Hard yakka going down ...

    Tuesday 19th August
    Hello from Calvi on the island of Corsica, France.
    Awoke to see the shore from our stateroom, looks beautiful. We had to go by tender boat from the ship to the shore as there is no mooring large enough for the Noordam to dock. A tourist office was set up as we disembarked and we recieved a free map of the town which was very hard to read and in small writing. Still we made our ...

    ... to get a tender back to the ship On the tender the kids got the front row of seats and the captain left the front window open so they got splashed as we sailed back Once back on board we went up to the lido deck and cooled off with a lovely swim! the kids had some dinner and went downstairs to get changed for club HAL.
