Trento is a surprise package. A city of approx 120 000 based on education and finance this city is located on the river Adige, a major trading route with Europe in earlier time, and completely surrounded by snow covered mountains. Spectacular.

Back in Fiera we all went out for dinner and then to bed after a busy ...

Toured through the farmlands of Bassano del Grappa and the walled city of Marosticca. Markets again so couldn't see the square at its best with lots of people everywhere. Very spectacular wall surrounding the village. Travelled through alpine valleys with towering dolomite mountains everywhere. Lots of vineyards and agriculture. Headed for our hastily booked ...

... shore to the local village called Pescerie or similar. It was an old village, at one stage completely surrounded by a massive moat , and we had a stroll around there for a few hours before cycling back to grab a table at a nice restaurant over-looking the lake, and only a stone's-throw from "home". Good meal, and into the sack only to be awoken a couple of hours later by a big storm that had blown up and had to get up in the middle of the night and take-down ...
