The mighty Dolomite Passes
... of my life. The road was extremely icy so I had to keep my speed well down. However, unlike yesterday and this morning where I seemed rather worried about ice and snow I was now so use to it all that it simply did not seem to worry me anymore. I hit ice on a number of occasions and simply let the bike make its own way over it. So long as it’s a straight bit of road there's no worry but on a curve it can be deadly and that is why extreme caution is required.

Left padova train to Verona from there suppose to be a fast train to Bolzano, yes it broke down so were put on normal fast regional train, bugger, only ended up 30mins longer somehow normally 90 mins. ... pretty quiet, a few unlucky tourist like us looked for shade in the rain, luckily there where a few stores open, we also found a fancy store for baby cloth, 250€ for a coat!!!! Who would pay this amount for coat that will be good for a few months??? After a very "touristic"strudel in one of the open caffes we decided to buy some food in the mini market and to cook them in our very well equipped apartment.
