... The lake was lovely today. The further out you go the clearer the water it was lovely and warm towards the surface and cool but not cold underneath. It was very easy to swim in no current no waves no salt I reckon given enough time I could swim the whole lake but it would take while I don't think you could rush anything here! The park was fun. ...

... is I got it wrong again! We are not packing up tonight we have one more day here, hurrah! The best thing about this site is it is very easy to relax. No urgency, people pottering around, kids riding their bikes about or jumping off the pontoon into the lake. The day drifts on, its hot in the sun, warm in the shade and cool in the lake but not cold. The water is clear and shallow enough to play in but deeper at the end of the pontoon to jump ...

At the end of the day we left our mark in Salzburg by having our own ...

    30 July

It was up early - 4:45am to get ready, hit the subway, get to the hauptbahnhof and find our train - the 6:24 to Salzburg. It was all quite uneventful. We left the hotel at 5:13 heading for the subway. The carriage came by 5:31 and we were at the hauptbahnhof by 5:45.

With some assistance from the DB people (Deutche Bahn) we found our platform, our train and, from what we could figure, our carriage. There is some screwy carriage numbering ...

... in. It's a quant little wooden gingerbread house looking backpackers that's called 'the treehouse'. It's run by about 5 people that wait on you hand and foot baking up massive home cooked meals (we had lasagne for lunch). If only there was more time. We arrived in Salzburg, dumped our gear and headed straight out to Red Bull's Hangar 7, home to ...
