Today I was able to sleep in alittle and thank God! When I woke up I went down stair to grab something to eat and I decide to go walk around Lyon for a little bit. I decided to go to some beauty supply store because I needed to get some cream for my hair. When I walked in the man working at the store could not understand what I was looking for. He thought I was asking for shampoo or conidtioner, but i was asking for leave in conditioner. He finally was able to ...

As darkness approaches we head up the funicular again for another look at ...

... These cows are grazing all along our way. I thought they were sheep. Took a bus (long ride) to our apartment on Rue Smith. What a cute, perfect little place complete with air and washing machine. I have a comfy day bed in kitchen living room. This place even has Nespresso! After we got settled and took naps, we went exploring. It felt close to 90 out but we walked quite a lot. There's a beautiful shopping center near us. The river winds ...

... but turn out to be of no consequence once I'm inside. Free entry is great, as is the free audio-guide. The museum was apparently done by a well-known (forgot who) architect, and does indeed provide a great display space for the artifacts while being practically invisible from the outside. The French have taken much better care of their ancient history than the Greeks and Italians generally seem to have, with orders being passed in Lyon that all sites should ...
