After picking up some fellow travelers, we headed out on the trusty Ludovita, and ended up anchoring off of Samothraki for a few days. We enjoyed our days playing in the water holes under the water falls, lounging on the rocks in the sun's warm embrace. Ending the day in the natural hot springs of ancient lore was as magical as it was tranquil. A truly peaceful, fun, and easy time! ...

... not a lot of life around. The odd lonely old Greek man going for a wander down a quiet street and mountain goats and sheep on the road sides and a few cars.

... of French tourists. We started chatting and they were shocked to learn that we were Americans. One of the French ladies said, "'re Americans?!...You can't be Americans! We don't like Americans, they are all fat!" We all shared a hearty laugh at that comment. I was tempted to tell her that we don't like French people because French people are all rude, but I bit my tongue. Zaros also has a one-seat barber shop, a local luthier who specializes in hand-made Bouzoukis ...
