At 7:51 am we sadly said bye to Salzburg and headed by train
to Munich. Arriving in Munich we picked up our hire car and Tom set
about driving in Germany ... in Munich, battling the crowds, the trams,
on the wrong side of the road, in a manual, sitting on the wrong side of
the car! He was amazing! There's no way I could have driven in that
traffic. We got out of Munich and joined our first autobahn, at which
