        Yes... we finally made it to the highlight of the trip for Eamon...... The Sound of Music tour :)We spent this afternoon touring round Salzburg in a mini-bus with 6 Americans and David our tour leader, visiting key buildings and film spots from the film, whilst in between times singing along with the sound track.....E loved it as you can imagine :) Seriously though...         ... walking distance. Got there to find that was closed for a few weeks. So we went into town, wandered around and finally with the help of another hotel, found a place for Wiener Schnitzel for dinner. It was good...

        We will change our plans and go to Durnstein after Strassburg as the ice caves and gondolas into the mountains do not open until May 1st.
