    ... but it is an incredible car. Now, I'm in a little mini-van with a random bunch of Frenchies, Spaniards and Germans (BlaBlaCar strikes again) on the 5 hour drive to Paris. I could really do with spending some more time in Germany and can't wait to come back after I've headed back to the UK. Such an amazing few days. I am feeling so happy.

    I could also do with not having 3 hours left of this journey. I might be sick on the French guy next to me. Sorry ...

    ... and an entire block of restaurants and bars. There was a huge park and people flying giant kites along the Rhine. And that was about it. Because everything else was closed. Today we learned that All Saints Day is a national holiday here and not the best day to explore a city. The more you know. Tomorrow we start our road trip!     Friday. 24th. Relaxing sail along the Rhine River to Cologne. Walking tour of Cologne and then the Captain's Farewell Dinner. The food and service for the whole trip has been amazing.     Most of the 22nd was spent in the air. We took off from Beijing at 1:30am bound for Abu Dhabi. According to our pilot this took us over the Himalayas and then through Pakistani airspace for several hours which was a comforting thought, before crossing the Persian Gulf and touching down in Abu Dhabi nine hours later.
