    ... there.

Once past Dam Square, we were in a more pleasant area. Picturesque houses line the canals. Our destination was in this area, but we were a bit early so we walked around a bit before heading back to visit the Anne Frank House.

I took a picture with the IAmsterdam sign, and treated myself to a Stroopwafel, which is basically two thin ...

It was my last full day in Amsterdam and I hadn't yet explored the part of the city which is south-east of Centraal Station. It was only 11am when I got off the tram and wandered through a couple of streets in the red light district on the way to the Maritime Museum. It was quite a strange experience. I spotted what looked like a shop mannequin in a window quite high up then I realised it was actually a woman in her underwear, posing. I walked past a couple of other ...

... they're going to clean them up. Likewise with the trams and buses - lumbering about the streets - beautifully efficient - offering courtesies everywhere and really providing no threat. It's the whispering death on two wheels that you've got to watch out for.

The footpaths have paving of two different colours - one colour's yours - the other one's for Eddie Mercyx and his lunatic mates. A distant - 'tingle' - then ...
