    ... he also charged 1e for water at the pumpout!
    The campsite was very pleasant - even though he allocated MH pitches with us all crowded together, surrounded by acres of open space!
    A canal ran through the site with ducks and coots with babies and a visiting heron.

    ... We saw many cows along the way, especially north of the sea dike. They are all out grazing on grass during the summer months. Farmers were out working in the fields, making hay and cultivating their crops of potatoes, cabbage and other vegetables. We saw only a few fields of corn which were about 2 feet tall.

    ... is an amazing structure but a mixed blessing. On one hand is a good cathedral and big time chateau. On the other is all the kitsch -- even a torture museum and a haunted house!! We enjoyed our stroll and a nice lunch at Adelaide, recommended by both Steves and our hostess, but are looking forward to leaving the city and going to a small village in the Pyrennes tomorrow.     ... Wijk bij Duurstede, which is basically in the middle of nowhere still in The Netherlands. We joined the ship again for lunch and we sailed on towards Cologne. We will arrive there tomorrow morning.
    Tonight we have had cocktaiks with the Captain and crew and welcome dinner. Its niw 10:00pm and still light. The nights here are very short, the sun will rise about 6am. Its doing my head in!
