So here we are, getting set for our 2014 Balkan Adventure. After 2 days of ferocious packing and cleaning, as we vacate what has been our Reception, Bar and Restaurant for the last six and a half years, we have collapsed in a heap pending some last minute personal packing and 'making ourselves look beautiful' preparations - so much to do, so little time!

Every morning when I wake up, I can see Mount Goldeck from my bedroom window, the peak of the Gailtal Alps. Yesterday, September 8 was surprisingly a partly sunny day and I decided to use the cable car up to the summit.

Time for me to move back to San Miguel de Allende and meeting Michelle since the authorities have kicked her out of Europe - I reported about this in an earlier blog entry.
