... was not up to scratch missing the only café on route for ages so we ended up stopping in a supermarket car park eating some very nice Austrian Sandwiches (which Allegra hated and actually spat out). Paul dropped some of his on the floor as well which he didn't cope with very well and sat on the steps of Sven in despair (I think it was the straw that broke the camels back). He did however pick it up and eat it anyway.

I wasn't so keen as the first leg had taken quite a while and with the rain I thought maybe the girls might not be happy and once we had committed to go all the way around there were no shortcuts. As always Jess pushed us to do it and as (almost) always she was right to do so. ... and watch life go by. Days are long with lots to see and do. Pretty tiring though with early starts. Our tour guide Carl is a very proud Austrian who has been good at keeping everyone to time. Some people do all the optional extras but we only do a few as it is too tiring and there is only so many yodelling dinners we can go to. Yesterday was another fabulous day with a visit to the summer palace in Vienna in the morning and spent the afternoon ...
