We have a free morning to wash, pack up and do some sight seeing. Come 2pm we're on a bus for around 2 hours back to Paris. Happy to be on a bus than having to walk it again. We're staying with the Sisters of the Sacred Heart at the Sacre-Coeur Basilica in Montmarte, Paris. This basilica sits on the highest point in ...

It rained most of the night. Luckily only lightly. I was worried our tent would collapse if any heavier. Our last day - I have no words to express my excitement. It's drizzling but I don't care. Last week it was cold & rainy. This afternoon we are sailing back to Paris... Some are touring Versailles & we will pick them up along the river somewhere. I'm enjoying my panoramic windows open and listening to the birds & ...

Dark and darker as we expected and we knew it was becoming cold and colder but our first experience this year of minus 2.5C in the night was disturbing. We are warm and dry inside but were still tempted outside for our TRX workout at dawn followed by a run along the Le Loir with the sun rising in our eyes as we returned to the motorhome. Not ...

Madame changed from being sweetness and light to being Miss Sourpuss of the year between us having breakfast and leaving. Not sure how we managed that, but we must have done something heinous for the 180 degree change in attitude.

However, the sun was shining and we set off with the intention of doing about 130 miles and stopping before we got too tired.
We have stayed in several Logis hotels, both this trip and previous ones and they ...
