    ... Listened to Brendan toss and turn all night, shivering one minute and throwing the blankets off the next. No change today, perhaps even worse. Again we spent most of the day in the room, Brendan sleeping and me reading. I whipped out a few times for a bit of lunch and fresh air, but thought I better keep and eye on the patient. He didn't eat much all day, but he did manage to get down a small peanut butter sandwich for dinner, not for long though!
