A very long day
... restaurant for dinner, which was truly delicious so we got some extra take out for the train. Found a bar in the basement of the hotel opposite, and although ugly, claustrophobic, and without a single women in, we managed to have a cold beer in peace before heading of to the station. Village of the Whittle God
... little fires in the square and huddled round. They used tobacco packets that were littered everywhere as fire lighters, and burnt any plastic and rubbish that was lying around.
Very friendly people and very welcoming to me, it was a gamble but definitely paid off, I had a great night there.
The route was pretty sensational too, over the deccan plateau - loads of windy mountain paths - not many great photos though unfortunately, taken while riding (!)

... down and four of our eight window panes are missing and have been cunningly covered up with a cardboard box and a rug - you can hardly notice! Unfortunately, the cardboard is on it's last legs and about to let go, so i'm getting wet over here and should probably put the computer away. I give it ten minutes until the power's out... i'll let ya know! This place is great... can't believe it's not in the guidebook!!
And re: the power... it wasn't ten minutes, proabably fifteen.

Presentation and Good-byes
... worlds about my fellow classmates, and tutors. I honestly owe so much gratitude to everyone for making me have such a great experience, for questioning and challenging me as a person in ways that I hadn't been in a long time, and for being wonderful conversationalist! I hope life's path guides me to Australia soon so that I may visit.
