    ... 6 sign pointed to wooden plank over stream than through meadow which led us to the dirt track on the dyke. The Danube waterline had lowered considerably and left wonderful ponds teaming with birds. On our left we passed field after field of sunflowers in full bloom, pointing their faces turning with the sun in unison. Who needs a compass when they are in bloom?

    Ingo the dingo had to go back to Austria so I'm setting myself a really really easy hitch hiking target as it's not been going so well lately. Belgrade to Timisoara and then a train from Timisoara to Cluj-Napoca, The train leaves Timisoara at 22:00, so I have an entire day to hitch hike 160km ...easy! ...right?!?

    ... may be as dangerous as the night time fiasco I described earlier. Another great thing is that I get to see the beautiful countryside. Which it is, however it also seems that randomly the side of the road becomes a garbage dump. I am not talking about a rest stop area with a pile of garbage near it, I am talking about all types of household refuse piled up. Some were even burning like a proper dump. The best one was in a parking lot ...
