Speaking to the Italian connection at the wedding they are learning to be more and more defensive and careful in their country with no borders and desperate people. Next time I shall carry two credit cards, not credit plus debit, swap one with Jane as we have always have done, always keep the passport in an available safe and split any larger amounts of money into two parts to spread the risk. ...

    ... the basilica, down for dinner, this was basically a set menu
    1. Bread
    2. Vegetable soup or pasta
    3. Chicken, potatoes, cauliflower & beans
    4. Panaotta dessert
    5. Coffee

    Went for a walk upstairs to see the sunset, Tim went down to the street, they were having some sort of youth activity & showing video onto the side of the basilica, glorious night, bed early long day tomorrow.

    ... so we stayed for quite awhile. Went from the hotel to the wedding as a group by bus taxi and the photos will show the beautiful palace/ museum where the ceremony was held. (Palazzo Della Ragione) Not a large wedding, just close family and friends, which added to the very emotional wedding.
