So after cancelling some of our plans and accommodation we were told there wasn't any availability for hotels for Mugello. We decided we'd go to Rossi's village Tavullia and then make plans from there.
I started searching for hotels again about an hour out of port and one place messaged back to say they had a cancellation and the price was very reasonable.

The jig was up, so I had to say 'sorry, but I really don't speak any Italian', which gave everyone a good laugh. She apologised and went back through the safety briefing in English, which included 'don't hang back to take photos as it is very easy to get lost'.
