... m just going to have to take
a chance and head over the passes in hope. I could head through Austria tomorrow
and stop at my usual hotel in Seefeld and then onto my stop in Darmstadt and
finally Amsterdam. However that would mean boarding the ferry home on Sunday eve
and like most Sundays it will be full of the weekend drinkers to Amsterdam so i

Dam just a short run from base and we passed some amazing waterfalls and arrived with not another person around - not a bad thing to be alone when you are stood on a glass platform at 200m. Back into Gmund for a look around the Porche Museum and town, quick bite to eat with a rather indulgent Iced Coffee.
Attempted the 35 km long Nochalmstrasse but the Austrian rain
had other ideas and mother nature sneaked in a rather chilly 2 Deg and at 2042 m high that is cold so back to Hochalmspitze for a chill.
Vernon's Goulash for tea made up for the day !
