    ... the funicular up to the top, Muottas Muragl, 2456 metres. Coffee and a walk to the lookout, with great panoramas, back on the funicular then a bus back to St Moritz. All the transport was free, on presentation of the pass. Off to the pub for the Scotland vs Sth Africa game, dinner then the first half of Aust vs England, leaving at half time to watch the rest in our room at the hotel.     ... would not grip like Transalps

    down this pass just seemed to go on forever but finally after about 30 or so km
    I finally arrived at the town of St Peter which told me I was getting near the
    motorway to Bolzano. However I just went on following the satnav and then
    realised I had set it up to avoid the motorway and take me over yet another
    single track road pass through the town of Kastelruth.

    ... most milk was honored by wearing the largest bell. After the cow parade we had lunch at the town fire house which was set up to provide food for those who had come to the festival.     By our second day we had the bus/train system mastered...we knew where NOT to get off the train. First stop was at Morteratsch at a local cheese factory where they make cheese the traditional way with milk from cows that graze high in the mountains.
