First day in BA & already in love with it (slight danger I may never come home). Yesterday was do nothing day, It was a day off as opposed to a work day for me. I was in pain from lack of sleep and a serious over dose of sugar. BA breakfasts are deserts, caramel sauce, chocolate cake and every sugary Danish you can think. I tried them all in the early hours when I came in from Opera bay. A perfec way to finish the two week Patagonian tour. An unforgettable evening with a full on hour of Tango lesson beforehand climaxing in El Watson and very able partner voted top Tango Two...!! Make no mistake about it - when people claim that Buenos Aires is the Paris of South America, they are not lying. Buenos Aires is a grand city. It´s gorgeous architecture, charming cafes, theaters and museums are on par with Paris, London or New York. I spent 3 full days walking and walking throughout the amazing city. I got to do about half of the things I had wanted. This is truly a city worth an entire week of your time.

Arrived in central Buenos Aires to meet up with our new travelling companions for our GAP tour to Rio - the combination of our improving Spanish and exceptionally helpful locals meant that our 'Subte' metro journey from the bus station to the hotel was easy.
