... this pass a number of times with Charly and it never fails to thrill me. The first part is a series of fast hairpins with good radius and great tarmac. Then comes a rocky and narrow section as the road clings to the side of the mountain with vertical cliff walls rising high above. Finally another series of broad fast hairpins to the summit and a selection of good cafés and restaurants.

... We settled into bed, Sue earlier than Richard who was booking tickets for our next 2 train rides - Trento to Milan and then Milan to Cinque Terre. We spent one week in this cosy and special hotel. We planned every evening with the owner of the hotel where to hike the day after. And every time it was a special experience. We saw a lot of mountain lakes, deers, flowers and the owner one time came with us explaining all about the area: history, geography and bothanic.
