We are back on the Italian Riviera, a camp site close to Imperia, east of San Remo. Much quieter than last time. The weather is hot and sunny, the Mediterranean warm but salty. Life's a *****!!! Cinque Terre - 5 Italian Villages
Saturday night after our trip to Pisa we continued to head north and stayed overnight at a somewhat average campground. We are still opting to stay in cabins rather than "popping the top" on our van and this is largely due to the heat. Italy on the Med

Italy was not as frantic as we had imagined. There are clear signs of the impact of the current Euro crisis, not least the number of shops shut down and the increased costs in fuel. Tomorrow, back into more familiar territory, though the midi de la France may well have changed? ...
