... it required a signature. The previous day, we had rode around about 5 miles on reserve tank until we found a gas station with a cashier. This day, Sunday, we started looking for a gas station when we got down to a quarter of a tank. In that 80 miles or so, there was not one gas station with a cashier. ... They had an option to climb the tower, but we decided not to since we would have had to pay 18e per person and the line was pretty long. Instead, we walked around the Plaza, seeing the other surrounding buildings. Female company has been missed in Royan and sipping champagne whilst getting ready for an evening out filled me with a contented satisfaction.
