... didn't realise you did for individual trips. Anyway, the ticket collector did tell me about that, and kindly didn't charge me the 50 euro penalty! He did charge me 5 euro tho, and I probably got off lightly.

I had some thought that I was going to go out for dinner after a rest, but have flagged that idea as it was after 8pm by the time I got to my room. Marco is very nice, and an enthusiastic Italian. He was showing me a youtube clip of ...

All of those were brilliant, I went intothe camposanto first at nearly 9am and was the only one there which was amazing because it is a cemetery so it was very peaceful and you could see some beautiful statues without the riffraff getting in the way. The duomo was ...

... our ride, as we headed along the Arno River out of the flat plains of Pisa, along a few narrow paths and then up into the Pisan hills, we really start to feel like we are in Tuscany. A few hills to be climbed; we are all challenged in the heat. Marc manages to excel himself with a superb picnic featuring prosecco and fantastic cheeses, and salads. Well fuelled we manage the narrow paths and a few hills to the quiet town of Casciana Terme, famous for its ...
