Sorry should have explained the pom in yesterdays blog. We kept on running into this british couple. Beach, restaurant in the street at Cagliari and lastly at the nuraghe site. By this time we were on hugging status.
There r a lot of germans tourist. I (ann) keep getting mistaken for a german - bloody insult - sorry Mary.

Firstly I don't want any complaints about spelling/typos etc. I do the blog when I can it is not the most important part of the holiday. I just want you to share some of our experiences.
Well another tough day! We left our lovely little hotel in Bosa and set out along the back roads. Twisting, turning and climbing. Through little villages with views across valleys and mountains.
We are docked in Porto-Vecchio for the day. As we approach this town, we can see remains of the 16th century citadel which was originally built by the Genoese. During WWII (1943), after we recaptured Corsica from the Germans, we had 14 airfields on this island.

I loved the proximity to restaurants, shops, boulangerie, epicerie and everything I need. As for the beaches, they were outside of the city, max 10 min drive.
