Ok I get building walls around your city if you have unfriendly neighbours, but this is crazy. The walls at Kotor are around the city but then for some reason they go way, way up this super steep cliff face and loop around the top.

The walls on the cliffs are not that high, but the sheer difficulty in building make them an unthinkable challenge. Somehow rocks and cement have been dragged up the cliff face.... and people have balanced ...

... so we rode on and almost got to Shkoder when I saw the sign of a new campsite. We couldn't have wished for anything better! The campsite is located by Lake Shkoder and it is clean, inexpensive, very well-equipped and the staff is helpful and friendly. They even have a restaurant and bar, where we could relax a bit and in the evening we tried their delicious pizzas. We even swam in the lake!
