    ... heard about the place at night was true; every building was lit up, and the Basilica was the finishing touch to the masterpiece. A couple of restaurant bands were playing whilst we were there, and their music was the perfect end to the day.     ... our school outings to the Fair for Italian and other European kids? I suspect so. We wandered to three of the Chorus churches in the morning in San Polo. The Chorus Churches area group of 16 churches in Venice that are banded together and allow you to buy one ticket for all of them rather than pay 3 euros to each to visit. We did get a pass for the churches and museums of Venice for 40 euros each, not sure we will ever use that enough but figure the money goes to the upkeep so ...
