    ... courtyard where we could take a look at how the building was created many years ago. Then we proceeded into the book shop where we bought a Venetian book for kids. In this book there is walks that you follow and you do little activities along the way. Once we bought this as we were leaving we saw a machine that made hot drinks for you it was so 'cool'.     ... outside- torrential downpour. I spend some time this morning working on Myanmar visa. We still don't have them! I am a little nervous. I call Dad and ask for his help because I am supposed to call hotel in Mandalay but cant get through with either Magic Jack or my T-mobile service. Made for an interesting time as everyone was scared not knowing what was happening or whether it was still safe to travel so she had unique memories about Venice. Breakfast two happened at a restaurant next to the Grand Canal, one up from where Peach and I had eaten previously. 15 euros later we had sat on the tables right next to the canal and had eaten a croissant each and drunk an orange juice for me and another cappuccino for mum.

    The Metro moves quickly and before you knew it we were at our stop. From there it was just a short walk to the B&B. We arrived around 4.30pm, we quickly inspected our room, which was nice and clean, and then we ventured out to discover the local streets and get some dinner.
