    ... depots, these are always busy with pickups dropping off the sacks of olives which are stacked on pallets. Les did a few little jobs, we had lost a hub cap so he replaced it and checked there was still enough grease as a lot was splattered around the wheel. Zakros gorge is slap known as gorge if the dead, as there are a lot if caves that have in historic times used as burial tombs. The valley bottom was full of shrubs and boulders with a path snaking through them, if course it stopped at the river, which again we couldn't cross.     ... beach, the whole area is holiday accommodation, closed as usual. We parked on a piece if grass close to the beach and walked the length of the bay as far as the harbour, then returned stopping to nosey at a lovely seafront house nearing completion, before returning to where we had parked.     ... t find a launderette, but there was a barbers shop open, Les desperately needs a hair cut. Whilst we waited for his turn the owner served us coffee and we were able to use his wifi. The cut was soon done and Les now 'looks like the man I married'. We returned to the harbour and had lunch, then set off along the coast road, as we drove east the weather was deteriorating, we could see rain ahead on the mountains.     ... the attractive harbour from the circular Vousismeni Lake who's shore is lined with cafes and restaurants. It wasn't far and we parked at the harbour and walked through the town to the others side where there was a marina. There were four campers parked in the marina car park, it must be a popular site for overnight stops. We walked through the marina, there appears to be more boats in dry dock than in the water.
